Shri Sangram Mohapatra, born in 1968, is presently working as a Senior Government Administrative Officer. He is a pass-out from Ravenshaw Collegiate School, Ravenshaw College and JNU, New Delhi.

From childhood he has shown his brilliance in reading and literary activities for which he got state and national scholarships and many prestigious awards ,namely, Madhusudan Das Gold Medal, Felicitation for Best Creative Writing by Utkal University, Gokarnika award, Rajasthani Pustaka Mela Award. His short stories have been published in many prominent magazines of Odisha.

He has already published eight books. His post-modern short stories, choice of subjects as well as presentation of modern-day psychological problems in writing have been lauded by his readers

He has also got training for playing ‘Tabla’ for three years. SM Music is an initiative by him to present odia music to the global audience.

He is married to Mrs. Dharitri Mohapatra and having two sons, namely Aditya (10 years) and Ashrit (5 Years).

Presently he is working in Bhubaneswar.
